Women’s Self-Defense

Practical, pressure-tested skills taught in a supportive environment — no experience needed.

Monday 5:30–6:30pm
Women's self-defense training at XTMA

Skills you can actually use, drilled until they are reflex.

This class focuses on what genuinely matters in a real situation: recognizing trouble early, creating distance, breaking grips and holds, and getting away safely. Techniques are chosen because they work regardless of size or strength difference.

Every session pairs technique with realistic partner drilling in a supportive, judgment-free environment. You set your own pace, and you never train beyond what you are comfortable with.

What every class covers

01

Awareness & Prevention

Reading situations early, using distance and positioning, and de-escalating before anything physical starts.

02

Grip & Hold Escapes

Breaking wrist grabs, bear hugs, hair grabs, and chokes using leverage rather than strength.

03

Strikes That Work

A small set of high-percentage strikes to vulnerable targets, drilled on pads until they are automatic.

04

Ground Escapes

Getting up safely, creating space, and escaping from the positions that matter most.
